Stapan Koval is a Ukrainian clay animator. Was born in 1965 in Dnepropetrovsk region, Ukraine. In 1999 graduated with a degree in animation film from Kiev State University of I.Karpenko-Kary.

He is an art director, animator and a scriptwriter for most of his films.
