Harrow Library Sign System (Task2)

Harrow Library Sign System.

Good:

1. Many signs go together with the University typeface (Futura)

2. There is an information board on each floor about the schedule of the library

3. Each floor says the code of books and the facilities of the floor

4. The system to find books on the shelves is quite convenient

Bad:

1. You can only find a sign 'Library' from outside. There is no such a sign from inside of the building.

2. It is quite complicated to figure where the library is if looking at the sign system in the Forum.

3. There neither is a map of the library, nor the map of the campus in the building.

4. Signs do not belong to the same sign system.

 This means 1st floor. L stands for Library. I would have never noticed this if I wasn't doing the wayfinder project.

 Not too good to have a fire exit door hidden.
