My Journey (Task2)

Mapping My Journey from Harrow Campus to Quintin Rowing Club:
More here:

My journey can be divided into 5 parts:
1. Walk to Kenton station;
2. Overground or Underground train to Willesden Junction;
3. Finding platform to take the train to Kew Gardens;
4. Overground train to Kew Gardens;
5. Walking to Quintin Rowing Club.
 Walking from Harrow campus to Kenton station takes 10 minutes.
 Touch in on a yellow Oyster card reader, wait for the train 1-5 min; Train from Kenton to Willesden J. takes 13 min. Slow train. Many stations. Carriage mostly full. People read, use smartphones, eat, look at the tube map, bored.
 Got off the train; look for the platform to Kew Gardens. Many platforms; puzzled. Pink Oyter card reader, very puzzled. Some people use, some don't. Found the needed platform, wait for train 1-7 min.
 Train to Kew Gardens, 3 stops, fast. Nearly empty carriage. People read, eat, talk on the phone, just sit bored. Touch out yellow oyster card reader.
 On the street, looking for the name of the road, checking with the map. Confused. Asked people - found the way to the bridge.
Overall the trip took 1 hour from the start to the end.
35 min on the train. 2 trains.
Up to 15 min on the platform.
3 Oyster card readers.
25 min of walk outside the tube.
Helpful/good: maps on the streets and bus stations; GPS; people; signs on the tube; nice parks on the way to Quintin rowing club.
Confusing/bad: separate entrances to left and right platforms in Kew Gardens; 3rd oyster card reader on Willesden Junction; difficult to find the name of the road sign; nothing to do in the train/bored.
